What do you do when a global pandemic strikes and threatens to upend a St. Anthony tradition? You replace one mask with another and you swap out trunk-or-treating with a “Boo-drive-through”. The St. Anthony staff stepped up to bring joy to the students we love so much. For a brief moment we forgot about Covid and let the kids be kids again. They were were trick-or-treating just like old times…but this time from cars while driving by crazy teachers dressed up as a hotdog, a woman riding a dinosaur, a witch, and so many other crazy masked faces. Teachers threw candy and prizes into rolled down windows while kids squealed with glee. This was no trick, but quite the treat. One thing is for sure, there were smiles behind the masks.
