St. Anthony's depends on parent volunteers to organize class parties and activities, chaperone field trips, and coordinate class-hosted school events. Volunteering in your child’s classroom is a fun and rewarding way to support your child’s class and the school. It is also an opportunity to connect with other parents and earn service hours. Please see the Parent-Student Handbook for information about service hours and requirements.
Some class activities and events require volunteers to be in compliance with Archdiocesan Child Protection Policies, including attendance at Virtus Child Protection Training program and clearance pursuant to completion of a background check. Please check our child protection policy for more information. Virtus training will credit a family 4 hrs of service.
Our current service hour coordinator is Ms. Gina Thompson. She monitors the service hour log, shares opportunities, and invoices for unserved hours.
